The Centre offers counselling for anyone who is being sexually abused, or has been sexually abused or raped in the past. We can either talk to you on the telephone or in person, whichever you would prefer.
We can go with you to the Police Station, Court, Doctors or Hospital to offer you support.
We know how difficult it can be to talk to someone about what has happened or is happening to you. You may have already tried to talk to someone else about it and were not believed, told it was your own fault or told to forget it. Whatever your circumstances, we are here to listen and believe you.
If you want to contact us by telephone or via e-mail, please note the following important information:
If you (or someone you know) are under 18, and are being or have been sexually abused or raped, we may have to share this information with Social Services, who will then help you get the support you need.
If you are over 18, anything you choose to tell us will not be discussed outside our Centre, with workers from other agencies or with any of your family members – unless you wish us to do so. The exception to this is if you are at serious risk of harming yourself or others, or if you tell us a young person you know is at risk.
If you have anything you would like to know or discuss, please e-mail us.
We will get back to you as soon as we can.
