If you are feeling alone

People who have been sexually abused, sexually assaulted or raped may understandably find it difficult to even think about, let alone talk about with others.  However, listening to, or reading, the stories of other people who have been similarly affected has helped many people who have been through these experiences.

“…He took six years of my life no way is he taking the next hour or come to think of it the next seventy or so years there’s so much to do. You might be thinking oh she’s cured you can never forget it, but you can live your life now the way you want to, make your own choices which route to take and what you as a person want to achieve. You are a stronger person then he will ever be you’ve come through what he has to live with for the rest of his sad lonely life…”

The more people who have suffered sexual abuse, sexual assault or rape can talk about it, the more our society becomes aware of these crimes and the people who commit them.  This will hopefully make it more difficult for paedophiles and sexual offenders to get away with hurting more girls, boys, men and women.
