It’s been a while
Since he did it last
But he’s done it again
But to my niece
And it’s all my fault
My niece is now hurt
And I don’t know what to do
As I could of
stopped him
but was too scared to
I’m trying now
To ease her pain
But how can I
What do I say
I can’t say
You’ll forget
Because you don’t
But it does get easier
To deal with
But it’s still there
With little to no trust
For those who try to carry on
I’ve decided now
To make a change
I’m not a child anymore
