How you may be feeling

“on your website … It's also nice to see that you talk about other things like anorexia and other eating disorders, and people physically harming themselves. Luckily i didn't start that although i didn't want to live anymore back in May. I never did anything just said i didn't want to live. Now i wanna move on with my life, infact im growing up too fast now with a job and everything.”

Sometimes the horrible feelings and memories that some people experience as a result of being sexually abused or raped can be overwhelming. People learn to cope with these feelings in many different ways. To follow are small pieces of writing explaining some of the affects you may experience. If you are feeling that your behaviour is out of control it is really important that you try and talk to someone about it and get some help.

“Well I can do it, of course I can, I owe it to myself I am something and someone and so are you, in this life you can do whatever you want ‘Good luck’. Remember you may have had a bad past and some of the years, months and days of your life have been lost in bad memories but always remember that the future is all yours…
He took six years of my life no way is he taking the next hour or come to think of it the next seventy or so years there’s so much to do.
You might be thinking oh she’s cured you can never forget it but you can live your life now the way you want to, make your own choices which route to take and what you as a person want to achieve. You are a stronger person than he/she will ever be you’ve come through what he/she has to live with for the rest of their sad lonely life…”
