If it is illegal what could happen?
If the boy is over 16 and the girl is 13-15, the boy could go to prison for two years (even if she agreed to have sex with him).
If the girl is under 13 he could be sentenced to life imprisonment.
If a girl over 16 has sex with a boy under 16 she can be prosecuted for indecent assault.
